Picton Surgery evolved from Picton Street Surgery, which has been in existence since the 1960s. Originally operating with one doctor and several part-time receptionists the practice provided a general practice service to Howick and the surrounding countryside. We serve wide range of patients of diverse background and ethnicity and all ages from new born to the elderly.

In the subsequent years the Howick area has seen substantial residential and population growth. The practice needs subsequently altered in accordance with this population growth. This, together with an increased focus on holistic and preventative medicine has provided us with opportunities for broadening the scope of practice at Picton Surgery. We now have one male doctor and two female doctors covering 24 sessions per week, and three practice nurses. GP consults are available in English and Mandarin.
