Dear Patients, https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov Extra infection control precautions are taken due to an international outbreak of a new strand of respiratory coronavirus causing pneumonia. Please wear a mask before entering if you have any cold or influenzas like symptoms. i.e. Cough, wheeze, body fever & ache. Please Do not enter if you have recently travelled to China and have the above symptoms. Instead telephone the clinic on 09 5347176 and advise of travel history and staff will come out to greet you. All clinic staff have also been asked to wear masks as a precaution.

First symptoms A fever, A cough, A runny nose, Sore and watery ‘pink’ eyes, Sometimes small white spots on the back inner cheek of your mouth. Day 3–7 of illness A blotchy rash which tends to start on your face, behind the ears, before moving over your head and down your body. The rash lasts for up to a week.
